Dundas Chiropractic is excited to announce that changes have been implemented in the scope of practice for chiropractors that will enhance patient access; these changes are thanks to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Chiropractors are now going to be able to request official laboratory test results (including blood work), diagnostic ultrasounds, and specified x-rays. This is great news, as it will increase our capabilities when working to help our patients deal with and get rid of their pain and discomfort.

These changes are part of the government’s efforts to change and improve our healthcare system. Easily accessible medical reports and the information is a vital step in helping not just chiropractors, but all doctors more properly treat their patients and help them to heal. It is all part of an effort to put patients first and increase their access to various helpful treatments that can make a difference in relieving them of their pain and discomfort.

Dundas Chiropractic is more than happy to cooperate with these new regulations and we look forward to putting them into practice in order to better treat all of our patients. Our efforts are set to gain a considerable boost, meaning now is a better time than ever before to seek chiropractic care should you be suffering from back pain or any other related ailments.
